It is a great honour for us to host the sport forum for Armwrestling in which representatives from over 30 European countries,
ages, sex, disabled people will take part. Principle for democratic participation, equality and access to sport activities is in
the basis of development of physical education and sport. As a representative, professionals, fans and admirers of Armwrestling,
I greet all of you, who makes sport ideals popular and creates conditions for development of democratic citizens society! In April
2009 Sofia celebrates a significant holiday - 130 years as the city was proclaimed a capital of the Republic of Bulgaria. The motto
of capital city: "Grows, but never aged!" is a symbol of succession in traditions, culture, but also an aspiration for development.
I hope, that the atmosphere of XIX European Championship for Armwrestling will be a part of the festival events in our city! Welcome

As a President of the Bulgarian Armwrestling Federation, it is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to
Euroarm 2009 - European Armwrestling Championship for men, women, juniors, masters, and disabled people - from 1st till 6th June 2009,
in Sofia, the Bulgarian Capital. We are proud, that for a not so long period, our competitors proved to be some of the best at this
attractive sport. As a host of the European championship, I assure you that you will spend wonderful moments with excellent

OFFICIAL HOTEL OF THE EVENT
The official hotel of the Event is "Park Hotel Moskva", located at walk distance to the sport hall. The hotel offers accommodation in luxury ****-star rooms (air condition, satellite TV, internet access, free mini-bar ) and in standard ***-rooms, well as day bar, restaurant, fitness center, parking.
Prices, valid from 01.01.2009:
Including breakfast, insurance, tourist fee, VAT
Luxury room:
Single room - 65 Euro
Double room - 78 Euro
Standard room:
Single room - 41 Euro
Double room - 50 Euro
Lunch and dinner is possible at the restaurant of the hotel.
Transport

IMPORTANT!
Final term for receiving information from the teams which need Bulgarian visa - 10th April 2009. The necessary information for visa is the following:
Full names, passport number, date of birth, team position. Final term for the accommodation order of the teams - 15th, May 2009. If teams miss these terms, the organization committee of the 19th European Championship won't take any further engagement for their visas.
TEAM REGISTRATION PROCEDURES
After meeting at the airport by a representative of Beauty Art agency, the teams will be taken to the hotel.
When arriving at the hotel, the team captain together with a representative of Beauty Art agency fill in a registration form. All teams are obliged to pay in advance the all amount for accommodation and transport.
Teams registration - 9:00 am.-13:00 am., Monday 01 June 2009.
Country representative: Only one person will register their team. The Representative will bring with them the following:
- Completed Team Registration form
- Passport or Photo ID for each competitor
- 40 Euro fee per person for Seniors and Masters
- 20 Euro fee per person for Juniors
- 100 Euro annual fee
EAFRepresentative will then:
- Issue Country Number
- Issue a Weigh-in Tine
- Photocopy each passport
- Accept Registration Form
- Accept Individual Registration fees
- Accept Country Registration Fee
- Prepare Official Receipt
All teams are obliged to send their registration forms to the General Secretary of EAF till 15.May 2009.
The registration order depends on the time of receiving of the registration forms from the General Secretary of EAF.
TEAM WEIGH-IN PROCEDURES
The weigh-in order depends on the time of receiving of the registration forms.
The first received registration form receives the right to be first at the weigh-in and so on.
Each country will come to Weigh-ins in the following order:
Team Captain will be present with the Team to answer any questions.
Weigh-ins:
Ladies 50, 55, 60 kg
Men 55, 60, 65 kg.
Please note:
If a competitor does not make weight, they have until 17:00 to make weight
A test scale will be made available for competitors.
A Competitor only has two shots at official weigh-in scale
A Competitor may only weigh-in between other countries
Official Event Badges:
Once the competitor has weighed-in, they will have a picture taken for their Official Competitor Badge.
The Competitor can then leave the Weigh-in area
The Team Captain will wait till all team pictures have been taken
Once the full Team is completed the Team Captain will receive all competitor badges
Any Team Officials (Referee, President and Coach) with a Country must be present at Weigh-ins to have photo and badge prepared. Badges must be worn all the time during competitions days.
